No Ordinary VampyreChapter 11
What is it that I want?
I punched the bag again and it slammed into the wall directly behind it. We always have to hang them against s a wall because when I hit them they tend to fly back. But, I decided that tonight the punching bag was my target and for some odd reason he wasn’t dying so I had to hit harder and faster. Of course the bag isn’t alive but, that is what encouraged me to hit so hard. To tell the truth I hardly ever use the bag but, I just felt like that was what I needed to do.
In the middle of me concentrating on my violence and how hard or soft I hit the bag. Someone grabbed my wrist from behind me. Ohh, bad move pal. I thought and twisted my wrist so that I now held their wrist.
“Woah, take it easy.” they said.
Of course it was Starky. Immediately I let go and started unraveling the bandages from my hands.
“Starky you know better than to do that. I know I’m safe in my house but, I could have very well ripped that arm

Teasing andTrust Issues
The rest of the day Starky and I put of the research and helped Erik move in. We ended up giving him the room next to mine and all of his things were in there in a matter of hours. He was so happy that you could practically feel the happiness around him. It was amazing and I was proud to be a part of what caused that happiness. The only problem was that Starky kept a mischievous grin on the whole time. Which on only got me wondering what the heck he was up to. I mean honestly why couldn’t he just leave Erik alone? But, aside from that fact Erik was happy, Starky was happy and I was happy to see them happy. Which in my mind equaled a good day.
Although to tell the truth the fact that we hadn’t done any research was bugging me a little. I felt like we slacking off. Like we weren’t even trying. But, in the end I gave up thinking about it and relaxed.
“Jay what are we doing for dinner tonight?” Erik asked and walked in
No Ordinary VampyreChapter 9
Am I really that scary?
“Jay! Jay are you home?” Erik yelled as he walked into the house.
“I’m in the library Erik!” I yelled back and went back to reading.
Starky and I decided this morning that we would research up on Vampyre’s and Werewolves so that we might understand a bit more where and when everything went down hill between the two. We’ve been in the library all morning researching the wars and disputes. So far I have found out that the Werewolves betrayed the Vampyre’s somewhere along the way. That’s the biggest link to the reason the feud started in the first place. If only we could find a journal or something so that we could...
“Jay? You in here?” Erik asked and walked.
As soon as he walked in -after seeing Starky leaning over me reading from the passage I was just reading myself- he tensed. He doesn’t like it that we live together and he made that perfectly clear last time I saw him. And if th

A decision is made
“Wait a sec you just said that you let her help you. So how is it that you need to free yourself?” I asked.
This doesn’t make any sense and to tell the truth. Why is it that she has let this Werewolf so close to her but, she says the she wants to be free. I just don’t get it. Why let it close to begin with only to turn around and ask someone to free her.
“I only let her close so that she wouldn’t suspect that I was a Vampyre. I’m not strong enough to fight her. And when I run away she just hunts me down.” She said and walked to the door.
“Where are you going? What’s your name?” I asked and stood up.
“My name is Heather and I must go back now before she comes looking for me. I’m truly sorry for the trouble I’ve caused and I hope you reconsider my request to help me.” Heather said and walked out the door.
When I went to open the door and follow her she was go

The Truth is Told and the Past Unfolds
I walked down into the basement to get something drink before I went to bed that night. I walked over to my fridge and grabbed one of my many blood bags that I get from the public hospital and downed it. I can’t believe how long it has actually been. I mean all in all it was only a week but I’m still so hungry...
“Jay?” Starky said as he walked around from the corner.
From the looks of it he had been practicing for a while now. He has a towel around his neck and sweat running down his face.
I opened the fridge and grabbed another bag.
“Yes?” I asked and turned around to look at him while I started to sip the second bag.
“Are you okay now?” He asked and wiped his face with the towel.
“Yeah I’m fine. I was just going to practice some before I went to bed that’s all. That and I was thirsty.” I said and held up the bag showing what I meant.
“Oh okay you sure?
No Ordinary VampyreChapter 6
“You do realize that you can try to escape but you won’t get out right?” A familiar voice that I have come to know as the Witch said.
As I open my eyes and I can’t feel my hands. I look over my shoulder and see that my hands are tied to together and by the looks of it they’ve been like that for a while. I looked around and saw Starky in the corner tied up with rope marks on his wrists and blood trickling down from the side of is head. When I looked around some more I saw The Witch leaning on the side of a table looking at her fingernails.
“What do you want with me?” I whispered in a very weak voice.
I looked up at her my hair falling in front of my face, looking very vulnerable. I hate this. I hate this whole situation. I’m not usually a cocky person but this is not the way a monster of strength and speed like me is supposed to live. I hate feeling trapped and defeated. I hate the way that I have fallen in
No Ordinary VampyreChapter 5
What happened? What’s going on? And why am I moving? I thought as I slowly opened my eyes to see that I was on someones shoulder being carried through the same forrest that I was in only days ago.
“Oh you’re finally awake. Good we’re almost there.” A delicate voice said as we continued walking.
I didn’t say anything. I just looked around at my surroundings and quickly got myself ready for a fight. I raised my arm high and slammed my elbow down into my Vampyre nappers shoulder.
“Ahhhh!!” She yelled and dropped me.
I quickly turned around and jumped up to dodge getting kicked in the leg. Now that I could get a good look I could see that it was the girl I had found in my house just hours before. She was holding her shoulder and trying to do something that I knew all to well as changing. She kneeled to the ground and waited. And I turned around and started running. This is not good. This is the wors
You're Not A PoetYou’re not a poet because of strung words
Together on row upon row again
Of blank verse or perhaps liberal rhyme.
‘Slam’ all you want, other poets wonder;
Your ignorance of couplets a blunder?
Yes! I speak harshly, but it’s no gross crime,
To point with honesty failed verse of thine.
No real poet discards upper case words;
Lets prose crawl on paper like listless worms.
You seek to free verse of those stern letters,
Sever away bleak capital fetters,
But it doesn’t sing of great speech sublime,
Rather, it sneaks of writing in spare time.
Wait! before you throw me in the icy Rhine;
It’s hard to put verse together in rhyme,
To make our dull words sound great all the time,
Hear them ring out loud, like a clear clock’s chime,
Heralding a poet’s summer prime.
Yet the sacred muses weep at your crime;
Your pentameter mangled thick like slime,
The subject not gilded in raiment fine;
Your bold ink font, crystal waters divine
Tastes bitter to the ton
